Hotel

• Under Canvas Acadia: this is in Surry which is right outside of the Park; it was about 15-30 minutes to get into the downtown and hiking spots. We ate at our campsite quite a bit, went to breakfast in Bar Harbor once, ate at Perry’s Lobster Shack after our boat ride, and stopped at one of the only restaurants on our drive back from Bass Harbor Head Light.

Activities

• Acadia National Park - get there early or utilize the buses because parking is tough if you’re not there first thing in the morning. Hike the trails and walk along the coast. The park is small enough to get it all done in one trip.

• Private lobster 101 tour: we booked this through Under Canvas, the dock is at Perry's Lobster Shack. You can do a tour where lunch is included or what we did is just eat lunch at the shack when we got off the boat. Highly recommend!

• Sunset @ Bass Harbor Head Light: Parking is limited, we had to wait in line to park and we just made the sunset.
